Air Show 2009

In the day of 18 Dec 09 me and my class maid went to the Air Show with our MIS teacher Mr.tridib which was in the International Airport of Dubai. We should be there at 9:00 am at the college to go but some of the students was late so we leave at almost 9:30 and arrive at 10:30. first of all we have a lecture with a company and they told us about there company and what they do also they have an office in Abu Dhabi and they would like if any one want to apply for a job with them. After this lecture we go and take a tour in the gallery their are different company present in it from different country all over the world also out side the gallery there was a big space that the company show there airplanes there was many different kind of planes. after that at 2:15 pm the air show started, it was very nice i really enjoy seeing it and i get some photos for the show. finally at 3:20 we leave the show to be back to the college.

Emirates Islamic Bank Campaign In The College

In this week me and my group was doing an a project for Marketing financial services course that we should do some advertisement about the EIB which have an branch in our college. we set several ideas to do this project in a perfect way that the teacher give us a good grade for it. one of our idea is that we get an tissue box and cover it by the bank logo and distribute it for the staff, also we print the bank logo and stick it to some files and pencil to distribute it for the student and talk with them about the bank products to give them idea about this bank. So by the end of the week our give away was finish by give it for stuff and student. This way will atract more student to visit the branch and know more about the features and benefit this bank offer to the customers.

High School Students visit the Dubai Women College

In 10'th of Nov high schools student want to visit our college to get a brief information about the college and the campus . First they visit the auditorium to be welcomed from Dr. Howard and DWC staff. later than they went around the college to see how it is and know more about the classes and students. They have visit an different workshop that the DWC student done for them in different majors. Our class also invite them to have an small workshop in personal finance awareness it's done by three different groups from us so one of this group was our group so we give them an presentation in how the can be take care from there money and how they can set a goals to help them in saving there money and also about the Emirates Islamic Bank that they have a branch in the college and they have a pnfits for the student that they can open a saving account with no balance So that will be interesting for new school graduated to attend the college.

Finally it's a good experience to us that we present in front of school student and discuses with them.

Marketing Mix Project

As we are student in Finance major, we study a subject which called financial marketing service in this subject we study how we can do an marketing for the service that the banks offer or for a banking product. So we have an project that include 2 parts in the first part we should search for an organization and we chose Al Rostmani International Exchange and then we do an interview with some one in the marketing department to ask him in more details about the company and specific in one product which was travel chuqe that they offer to their customer.After the interview we should write an report and it's should be an Organization introduction,Product description, target market, competition, Pricing objectives, Distribution process, Promotion mix, Physical evidence, People and Proactive customer service this all are about the product that we chosen. In the 2'end part we should prepare an presentation about this company but this time we must give them an idea about a new product in the same what we write in the report but it will be presented this time. This Presentation is due in the last of this semester.
